Ordering from Metro's Halloween Menu for an Office Event

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so the office celebration will happen during the workweek before it. Metro delivers its Halloween menu Monday, October 26 through Friday, October 30, so you can order it for whichever day you picked. As the person planning the event, you choose the food, set the quantities, and make sure every guest has something to eat. With Metro's Halloween menu in front of you, you can build the order in one pass and cover vegetarian and gluten-free guests from the same list.

‍

Start With a Shared Platter or Pick Each Hors d'oeuvre

The quickest order is a single large tray that arrives with several kinds of hors d'oeuvres already arranged together, priced as one item. Metro calls it a display. The Halloween Hors D'oeuvres Display has crab cakes, chicken fingers, meatball sliders, and pizza bites, with a remoulade for dipping.

‍

The other way is to pick each kind yourself. Metro prices individual hors d'oeuvres per 10 pieces, with a 20-piece minimum for each kind, and serves them at room temperature. The Halloween list has 14 kinds, including:

‍

  • Monster Meatball Sliders
  • Mummy Pigs in a Blanket
  • Eyeball Tacos with Adobo Chicken
  • Caprese Crostini Ghosts
  • Creepy Crab Cakes

‍

Order the display if you want the mix decided for you. Pick individual hors d'oeuvres if you want to choose the kinds and how many of each come, which also lets you add more of the dishes your vegetarian or gluten-free guests can eat.

‍

Round Out the Spread With Sides, Sweets, and a Cocktail

Metro prices five dishes for the whole table by headcount. Jack O'Lantern Guacamoldy & Fresh Corn Tortilla Chips and Dead Man's Meat & Cheese Board come per 10 guests. Taco Graveyard Dip, Spider Web Layer Dip & Homemade Potato Chips, and Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole come per guest, with an eight-guest minimum.

‍

For dessert, the Spooky Sweets Display brings brownies, Oreo mummies, chocolate-covered strawberries, Rice Crispy skulls, and Halloween cookies on one platter, priced per guest. Chocolate Covered Scary Strawberries, Tombstone Mousse Shooters, and Mini Halloween Cupcakes come by the piece, and Metro asks for 24 hours' notice on all three.

‍

The menu has one drink, the Monster Margarita: apple cider, lime and tropical fruit juices, and 1800 Blanco Tequila, sold per 10 guests.

‍

Vegetarian and Gluten-Free Choices on the Halloween Menu

Collect dietary needs with your headcount, then match them to the tags on the portal. The portal marks these vegetarian:

‍

  • Jalapeño Ghost Poppers
  • Spiderweb Pizza Bites
  • Caprese Crostini Ghosts
  • Jack O' Lantern Stuffed Sweet Baby Peppers, Beyond Meat
  • Jack O'Lantern Guacamoldy & Fresh Corn Tortilla Chips
  • Spider Web Layer Dip & Homemade Potato Chips

‍

It marks these gluten-free:

‍

  • Taco Graveyard Dip
  • Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole
  • Jack O'Lantern Guacamoldy & Fresh Corn Tortilla Chips
  • BBQ Bat Wings
  • Eyeball Tacos with Adobo Chicken and Eyeball Tacos, Carne Asada
  • Loaded Eyeball Baked Potato Bites, Bacon
  • Charcuterie Eyeballs

‍

The display has one vegetarian kind on it, the pizza bites, so if several guests are vegetarian, add one or two vegetarian hors d'oeuvres alongside it. The portal doesn't mark any Halloween food vegan, so tell Metro about vegan guests when you order.

‍

Metro's kitchen is not gluten-free or nut-free. Name any allergy and the guest it's for when you place the order.

‍

Book Halloween Delivery for October 26 Through 30

Review the Halloween menu on the order portal and order for the day of your event. For next-day delivery, place and confirm the order by 3:00 PM the day before.

‍

If you want Metro's team to help put the order together, request a quote and send:

‍

  • the day and delivery time
  • your guest count
  • the room where the food goes
  • your vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan counts, plus any allergies

‍

Pick your day, count your guests and their dietary needs, and build the order from the Halloween list. Metro has catered office events in New York since 1981 from our kitchen at 21 W 38th St.
